Tzalil, a talented project manager, approached me in the middle of a stalled project that was based on a paid template full of issues, with no proper support from customer service and unresolved flaws left behind after the previous developer walked away. At first, we tried to work with what already existed, using both the template’s built-in functions and custom code, but it quickly became clear that there was no full access to the code and no way to build a stable website that would last over time. Together, we decided to abandon the template and start fresh, rebuilding the site from the ground up. I created a fully custom website based on GeneratePress Pro, using HTML, CSS, JS, and PHP, which also allowed us to add advanced features such as a dedicated treatment menu—something that wasn’t possible with the previous template—and I added a small extra touch with a custom cursor tail that follows the user’s movements. In the end, the spa owner received a pleasant, fully functional, and visually refined website that serves as a brand site.
